I’ve always been interested in communication. I remember being fascinated by car plates and what they ment: that’s how I started reading when I was four. But soon came signs, languages, gestures, behaviours; I decided I had to know more. I started studying semiotics and cognitive sciences and I quickly realized new technologies were completely changing our idea of communication and life.
Shall human beings and computers coexist in a rich and balanced union? Is this total and deep coexistance the beginning of an unbelievable socio-technological and cultural growth? Today I believe so and I work for it!
The last step of my research about technologies as cultural tools pushed me towards games, new forms of entertainment and the role of interaction design in play (although I’m actually working on more institutional stuff!)
